Race Weekend Watch Parties Terms & Conditions
We, Raceway Trading Limited (company number 14384787) are pleased to sell tickets to “Watch Parties” held at our venues in the UK (Watch Party Tickets). By purchasing a Watch Party Ticket from us you are confirming to us that you have read and agree to the following terms and conditions.
You can find out all you need to know about our “Watch Parties” and the types of Watch Party Tickets that we sell on our website before you order (including our dedicated Watch Party FAQ page here(opens in a new tab). We will also confirm the key information to you in writing after you complete your order, either by email or on our website.
Purchase Process
We reserve the right to limit, at the time of purchase, the maximum number of Watch Party Tickets that any person may purchase for a single Watch Party. Watch Party Tickets may be limited to a maximum number per person, per payment card and/or per address. We reserve the right to cancel without prior notice any Watch Party Tickets purchased in excess of this number.
The nominated payment card used to purchase Watch Party Ticket must be registered in the name and address of the individual purchasing the Watch Party Ticket. We reserve the right to refuse any purchase of a Watch Party Ticket from any person who fails to comply with this condition or to cancel any Watch Party Ticket purchased in breach of this condition.
To prevent fraud and protect both you and us, we may carry out checks and/or you may be asked to provide additional information (such as a copy of a credit or debit card statement) after your booking so we can verify your purchase. If we suspect fraud, we may cancel any order for Watch Party Tickets.
We will confirm whether we have accepted your purchase of a Watch Party Ticket during the checkout process and will charge your payment method at the point we accept your order. Sometimes we may have to reject an order, for example, because we have sold out of tickets for the particular Watch Party, there was a pricing error or because we cannot verify your age. When this happens, we let you know as soon as possible and refund any sums that you have paid.
Each Watch Party Ticket will grant access to the relevant Watch Party to the person named on the Watch Party Ticket only. Each Watch Party is non-transferable except as expressly permitted in clause 8. Please make sure you check the details you enter during the checkout process because we may not be able to correct any errors and will not be responsible for any losses you may suffer if you enter incorrect information and are denied entry into any or all Watch Parties.
Discounts
From time to time we may offer promotions, deals or discounted offers, which are provided at our discretion. All such offers are subject to availability and may be withdrawn by us at any time. Retrospective refunds are not permitted against any offer or promotion advertised after a booking is made.
In order to benefit from any discount, payment must be received in full for any order subject to any discount by the advertised deadline for the relevant discount.
Refunds and Cancellation
Please take care of your Watch Party Ticket as we may not always be able to issue you with a duplicate if it is lost, stolen or destroyed and we will not be responsible for any losses you may suffer in the event your Watch Party Ticket is forgotten, lost, stolen or destroyed.On very rare occasions, a Watch Party may need to be cancelled or postponed at very short notice for reasons beyond our control, such as the relevant Grand Prix being cancelled or postponed or our venue having to close or restrict entry. If we do cancel or postpone a Watch Party you will be entitled to receive either: (1) a ticket to the rearranged Watch Party (if rearranged) or a ticket to another Watch Party of your choice (subject to availability); or (2) a full refund of the price paid for the relevant Watch Party Ticket.Please contact us here(opens in a new tab) to discuss your options.
If you are no longer able to attend the relevant Watch Party you can request that we transfer your Watch Party Ticket, which we can approve or reject in our discretion. In order to do this you will need to contact us here(opens in a new tab) and provide the email address of the individual to whom you wish to transfer your Watch Party Ticket. The transfer of any Watch Party Ticket pursuant to this paragraph 12 is subject to the following conditions
:any request to transfer a Watch Party Ticket must be received no later than 7 days prior to the scheduled date of the relevant Watch Party;
the sale, transfer or disposal of any Watch Party Ticket must not be for a value greater than the original sale price of the Watch Party Ticket;
the Watch Party Ticket must not be offered publicly (including on any website) whether for sale, as a gift or donation or any other means of transfer; andthe sale, transfer or disposal must be made strictly subject to these terms and conditions (and the transferee’s acceptance thereof) which shall be binding upon the transferee in full as if the transferee was the original purchaser (but the transferee shall have no right to a refund under paragraph 13 of these terms and conditions).
If you are no longer able to attend the relevant Watch Party and you are unable to transfer your ticket, we will refund you the amount paid for your Watch Party Ticket provided you request a refund no later than 7 days prior to the date of the relevant Watch Party. We won’t provide you with a refund in the event that you are unable to, or chose not, to attend a Watch Party that you have bought a Watch Party Ticket for except as set out in paragraphs 11 and 13 of these terms and conditions.All Watch Party Tickets are the sole property of F1 Arcade. If you breach these terms and conditions (and/or any terms referenced herein), we have the right, in our sole discretion and at any time, to cancel, revoke, or refuse all future transactions with any individual, including, without limitation, Watch Party Tickets.
Entry Conditions
Watch Party Tickets can only be used by individuals who are over the age of 18 unless they are accompanied by a responsible adult over the age of 18. We reserve the right to refuse entry to the venue to any Watch Party Ticket Holder who appears to be under the age of 25 who is not accompanied by a responsible adult who is able to show photographic identification showing that they are over the age of 18. We will not provide a refund to any individual who is refused entry in such circumstances.
Attendance at each Watch Party shall be subject to our general booking policy (found here(opens in a new tab)) and any other terms and conditions that we provide to you in writing.
We can only guarantee entry into a Watch Party if you arrive no later than 15 minutes than the official start time of the relevant Grand Prix. If you do arrive after that cut off we reserve the right to deny you entry to the relevant Watch Party if the venue is at capacity and/or give your assigned seat (if any) to someone else. We will not provide a refund to you in the event that we do deny you entry and/or give your assigned seat to someone else.
You must be able to display a valid Watch Party Ticket at all times during the Watch Party.
For the purposes of safety, security and/or checking compliance with these terms and conditions, you shall, if requested by any venue staff, co-operate and comply fully with the instructions and guidelines of such staff member (including by producing a valid Watch Party Ticket and photographic proof of identity and proof of age). You may be requested to submit to a body check and/or a search of your possessions for the purposes of locating and removing any prohibited items, and any refusal you may result in refusal of admission to or eviction from all of our venues without refund or compensation.
We and/or any venue staff may refuse admission to or eject you from any of our venues or cancel your Watch Party Ticket without refund or compensation if you (or any of your guests):
a. are noticeably under the influence of alcohol, narcotics or any behaviour-modifying substance, or are behaving, or considered by any venue staff likely to behave, violently, harmfully or in a manner contrary to public order and/or safety;
b. bring or attempt to bring into any of our venues, possess or use within any of our venues or in the vicinity thereof any prohibited item including, without limitation,; sound systems; glass bottles; drones; sky lanterns; laser pens; selfie sticks; unofficial high vis jackets; potential weapons of any kind; legal highs; illegal substances; fireworks; compressed gas containers; flares; air horns; smoke bombs; banners, signs or materials displaying political, religious, offensive or race-related messages, slogans or images; any item that venue staff member considers dangerous, hazardous and/or illegal or that may be used as a weapon or a missile or that may compromise or otherwise interfere with the enjoyment, comfort or safety of (or pose a hazard to) any person or security at any of our venues; animals (other than guide dogs); any objects bearing trade marks or other kinds of promotional signs and messages (of whatever nature) which we believe are for promotional purposes;
c. bring or attempt to bring into any of our venues, possess or use within any of our venues or in the vicinity thereof any sponsorship, promotional or commercial items or materials (of whatever nature) without our prior written authorisation (and you may be asked to show us a copy of any such authorisation upon entry to or whilst within any of our venues);
d. whilst within any of our venues or the vicinity thereof, engage in any form of activity related to marketing or advertising (including, for the avoidance of doubt, ambush marketing), or conduct any commercial activity whatsoever, or offer (either for free or for sale), sell or possess items with intent to sell (including, without limitation, drinks, food, souvenirs, clothes, promotional and/or commercial items and literature), in each case without our prior written authorisation (and any such items may be removed, confiscated and/or destroyed without compensation at our discretion and/or the discretion of any Event staff member);
e. whilst within any of our venues or vicinity thereof or, where applicable, through social media channels engage in disruptive, dangerous or violent behaviour including (without limitation) throwing, casting, thrusting or propelling any object at any person, instigate violence, racism or xenophobia, behave in a way that any reasonable person may interpret as provocative, threatening, discriminatory and/or offensive, create or pose any threat to the life or safety of themselves or any other person(s), or harm any other person(s) in any way, or unreasonably obstruct the viewing of other spectators;
f. whilst within any of our venues, enter or circulate in restricted access areas or other areas where you not allowed access to; or climbs lighting masts, fences, roofs and other apparatus or constructions;
g. whilst within any of our venues, damage, interfere with or tamper with any property of any third party;
h. whilst within any of our venues, smoke in any area where smoking is not permitted;
i. are suspected of committing, or having committed, or being likely to commit, a criminal offence in or about any of our venues; and/or
j. whilst within any of our venues or the vicinity thereof, fail to comply with instructions from us and/or any member of venue staff, or refuse a security search.
Save for official Formula One, team or driver merchandise and/or other Formula One related clothing, you shall not bring in, wear or display within the venue any sponsorship, promotional or other marketing materials.We take the needs of attendees of our Watch Parties who are disabled or who have other access requirements very seriously and encourage people of all abilities to attend our Watch Parties. Food and Beverage Packages
If you purchase an food and/or beverage package as part of your Watch Party Ticket the following conditions apply:
a. You will be entitled to receive complimentary food and beverage for a maximum period of three hours;
b. The three hour time period will begin from the scheduled start time of the relevant Watch Party (as advertised);
c. Your three hour time period will not be extended for any reason (including, without limitation, if you arrive later than the schedule start time of the relevant Watch Party or the start of the relevant Grand Prix is delayed);
d. We reserve the right to refuse or restrict alcohol sales at our discretion; and
e. All food and beverage is subject to a fair usage restriction.
Commercial Use
Except as expressly set out in these terms, it is an essential condition of the issuance of each and every Watch Party Ticket and the right of admission to each of our venues that the Watch Party Ticket must not be:
a. used in relation to any promotional or commercial purpose (including any competition, advertising, promotion, auction or as a prize in any competition or sweepstake, whether for a business or a charity or otherwise);
b. used to enhance the demand for any other goods or services; and/or
c. transferred or otherwise disposed of to any person who agrees to buy any good(s) or service(s) in return for the Watch Party Ticket; in each case without our prior written approval.
Any Watch Party Ticket offered for sale, sold, transferred, used or disposed of in breach of these terms and conditions may be cancelled and any person seeking to use the Watch Party Ticket may be refused admission to or be evicted from any of our venues without refund or compensation and may also be liable to legal action, even if the holder did not have prior notice of these terms and conditions or the fact that they were breaching these terms and conditions.
Limitation of Liability
We're not responsible for losses you suffer caused by us breaking this contract if it:
was not obvious that the loss would happen and nothing you said to us before we accepted your order meant we should have expected it (so, in the law, the loss was unforeseeable); or
the loss was caused by an event outside our control; or
was something you could have avoided by taking reasonable action.
We only provide Watch Party Tickets for domestic and private use. You agree not to use any Watch Party Tickets for any commercial or business purposes. To the extent that you do use your Watch Party Ticket for the purposes of your trade, business, craft or profession then, save in respect of any liability which cannot legally be limited, our total liability to you for all losses arising under or in connection with any contract between us, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, shall be limited to what you paid for the Watch Party Ticket and all claims for loss of profit or indirect or consequential loss are wholly excluded.
Uninterrupted Views
We do not guarantee that you will have an uninterrupted view of the relevant Grand Prix at any Watch Party. As a result, we will not be responsible for any interruptions and/or restrictions to the view of the relevant Grand Prix caused by virtue of: (1) your position in the venue; and/or (2) the action of any other attendees.
Lost and Found
We take all reasonable precautions to maintain the security of the venues but you are responsible for your personal property brought to and into our venues. We are not responsible for any loss, theft or damage to your personal property items. As a courtesy only, and without assuming any legal duty or liability, a “Lost and Found” is operated at each of our venues, which is where you may drop off found items. If you do lose an item, you can also email a description of the item and the location it was lost/found to ukseasonpass@f1arcade.com. After 90 (ninety) days following the relevant Watch Party, unclaimed lost and found items may be disposed of at our discretion.
General
These terms are governed by English law and wherever you live you can bring claims against us in the English courts. If you live in Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring claims against us in the courts of the country you live in. We can claim against you in the courts of the country you live in.
We can transfer our contract with you, so that a different organisation is responsible for delivering the benefits of the Watch Party Ticket to you. If we do this we'll tell you in writing if this happens and we'll ensure that the transfer won't affect your rights under the contract.We may use your personal data as set out in our privacy notice (found here(opens in a new tab)).
This contract is between you and us. Nobody else can enforce it other than someone you told us you were buying the Season Pass for and neither of us will need to ask anybody else to sign-off on ending or changing it.
If a court or other authority decides that some of these terms are unlawful, the rest will continue to apply.
We reserve the right to make changes to these terms and conditions from time to time at our sole discretion (including, without limitation, by amending or supplementing our booking policy).
